I know that horrible crusts came with the applying of chapstick but did I apply chemicals because of crusts or before as a precaution..I think that it is the second supposition. Anyway, I am sure that once I began to apply chemicals, I never could stop using them, it was always getting worse.

I think you'll be able to say that you'll be cured when lips won't peel anymore once you'll stop applying something on them. I hope you're in the good way.

Anyway, I wonder how it can be other than a local problem given that just these shitty lips are concerned, no other part of the body.

I also look into chapstick cause but it's been already four months my lips are left alone.

Also I don't think getting them wet is a problem. When the skin, in general, is hurt, we don't prevent it from getting wet or there is normally no paranoia about it. Pretty weird, rotten lips.
