As a mom of three, if I could redo it, I would have two children as close as possible, if you are planning on having more than one. It will be hard at first with two little ones, but after three they will be instant playmates, and that makes it easier on you. They will have a buddy for life, and the closer they are in age, they will have same interests, etc.
