fairly new to urine therapy- some background info. Need advice
Hi, just some background info about my current symptoms. About 4.5 years ago I was hit by a bicycle and got a bad scrape to my leg, which became infected with quickly spreading bacteria. I was given intravenous
Antibiotics at the hospital. Over the next few weeks I began to feel tired, much more anxious and panicky, spaced out, unreal, and my skin would get numb and I'd get burning and tingling sensations. Doctors said my symptoms were all anxiety, etc and even but me on antipsychotics for a time because of the crawing and burning sensations in my skin! Long story short, all my symptoms were apparently psychosomatic. I learned that candida could cause many of my symptoms abut a year ago, and half heartedly began to eat better for a while- my symptoms got worse (die off) and I was heavily drinking at the time and depressed and didn't stick to it. I had scared myself into thinking I was brain damaged.
About 3 weeks I gave up smoking and drinking. I am determined to get healthy. I began taking coconut oil, etc and changed my diet. At irst I felt like puking on the coconut oil (although I no longer have that problem). A few days ago I started trying urine therapy. I didn``t notice anything until the night of the first or second day, when i decided to bathe in it. As I was bathing in it all my skin seemed to go numb and my body seemed distorted and strange (neuro symptoms)- I am pretty sure this is not anxiety, as ever since I have started the urine therapy I not only feel unreal and spacier than before, but my body also feels and looks weird (hard to explain, its a feeling that you are looking at someone else`s hands, etc). Could these neuro symptoms be caused by urotherapy? I recently titrated myself off benzodiazepines which I had been prescribed to take every day for YEARS- could this be detoxing from those? Also, I am still taking effexor daily (I want to stop it but am afraid to just stop and I can't see my doctor for a while)- is urotherapy safe if I am still taking the effexor? Will the excess effexor be carried out of my body via the urine or through the faeces? Also, last question, since I have started urine therapy my urine has begun to smile quite strong- not a sweet or yeasty smell, a smell I can't quite describe. Is this a positive sign or something to be wary of?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
