Bartholins-misdiagnosed

I've had a "flare up" 5 times. One that put me in the ER it was so bad!
But apparently mine is not bc of the bartholins gland! Even
Tho it is causing the gland to get irritated often. I was told that I have
A mass that developed bc tiny tubules didn't disappear in utero when I was A baby like they were supposed to. I've had a tiny pea sized knot that just stays after every flare up. My doc kept prescribing me Antibiotics which only made it worse. And I mean BAD worse! Which was bc it was not an infection. The sitz baths have been my best freind for over a year now! I've googled this condition and can't seem to find anything out there on it. I'm scheduled to have the mass removed in three weeks and I'm hoping this will eliminate my problem. Anyone else experiencing this? I always thought it was strange that mine was so much higher up than the bartholins gland is supposed to be. Even tho the swelling would end up in that area. It's closer to where the skene's gland might be but my do says it's not that gland either. A birth defect? Really? My gyno said it was quite common. I'm scared! I hope this stops the problem! Just goes to show Antibiotics r not a cure all! I'm terrified of them now!
