Iodine Science - fibrocystic breasts

I recently tried to find out if there were any "herbs" protocol for clearing up fibrocystic breast condition in women, that the New England Journal of Medicine states that 60% of American women suffer from. I was unsuccessful in finding any "herb" protocol, but did find a few things about iodine:

Looks like Dr. Eskin has about 5 patents relating to iodine.

Here's an old study:

"CONCLUSIONS: The fibrocystic breast reacts differently to sodium iodide, protein-bound Iodide and molecular iodine. Molecular Iodine is nonthyrotropic and was the most beneficial."
