Re: please help ,chest pain continues after stopping naturethroid

Thanks for responding !

I have read about the immune system component in any autoimmune disease.I am trying to do the anti inflammatory diet as much as I can , in fact my doc also asked me to cut all grains , sugars(fruit included) and junk ,basically protein fat and cooked vegetables.I was already eating gluten free and no White Sugar or sugary fruits .

Are your proteins/fats pastured/organic? I try to lightly steam veggies, approximately 3 minutes for tough ones. Quiting carbs is pretty harsh, a few unprocessed carbs assist in feeling better.

I am taking Mag citrate(natural calm) ,though cannot tolerate recommended amount.I also take iron , b12 , vit d3 and vit c upto 3 gms a day .

Do you boil water and add the natural calm mag? What else do you take and when? The things you do take, in what form are they and how much of that form do you take?

Do you take your current supplements in AM, PM, with or without food, empty stomach, or in certain combinations? Can you be specific.

I've been interested in Curcumin (Turmeric) lately for generalized inflammatory response mediation. It seems to work well, synergistically, with [trans]Resveratrol. There's brand/mixes out there that improve absorption (like bioperine) of curcuminoids and some claim longer bioavailability. It's tough getting to the bottom of truth. It appears that curcuminoids have poor absorption by themselves and poor bioavailability. Hence, there are differing products and recent curcuminoid complexes out there.

Whenever i try to go strictly low carb , I feel very ill and fatigued at the end of the day and feel cannot go on without some carbs like potatoes etc .

My doc wants to help me get some hormones into my tissues first ,and then try to deal with infections etc after I am feeling a bit stronger .

I am unable to to get needed dose of thyroid due to this chest pain issue .

Now I am wondering , did the naturethroid trigger the pain or was something always wrong with my heart that just surfaced coincidentally ?

That's difficult to determine without testing.

I am feeling miserable after stopping the naturethroid , the shortness of breath , fatigue etc is back , but so is the chest pain .I thought it would resolve after stopping the dose .....

I don't know about antioxidant status . I do have mercury fillings , but waiting to get them out after supporting adrenals appropriately.

It's a slow poison that needs to stop seeping into your body. I'm no chelating expert at all, but there's others on here that may be able to chime in about removing mercury from your body much better than I.

You have provided lot of good links , some of which I have seen , others I am gonna explore ...

Thanks a lot
Just hope chest pain goes away and is not a big bad thing going on with my heart ......

As much as I'd like to provide all the answers to your questions, I can only provide some from experience like curcuminoids/trans-resveratrol/bioperine combos.

I found this link interesting in your case: http://www.digitalnaturopath.com/cond/C585969.html

It talks about Mercury Toxicity / Amalgam Illness and the many symptoms thereof. Cardiomyopathy is one recorded effect, especially since chest pain is common with it.
