Re: Not sure if this is SD, help?

Hi, I am actually having a lot of problems too with my scalp and I am looking for answers. When I read your post--my first question was what it T-Gel shampoo? What is the active ingredient(s) in it? I might need to look into getting it. I am suffering from dandruff, itching, and at one point I did have the bumps that would break open. I have dark red/brown long hair, so the dandruff can be noticeable at times, so that on its own is embarrassing and hard to deal with--let alone the itching. I have been diagnosed with eczema and dermatitis when I was younger, and actually went to the dermatologist and he said it was SD. When it gets really bad, I usually rub my medicine for my skin on my fingers and massage it into my scalp. (the active ingredient is betamethosone or something like that--I dont have it in front of me so I'm sure I spelled it wrong) other than that I found that medicated selsun blue (its over the counter) helps--the active ingredient in it is selenium sulfide. hopefully this helps a little bit--if it gets really bad i recommend going to a dermatologist.
