Re: iodoral limit ..fear of having hyperthyroidism
"One thing you can do is simply monitor yourself for signs of "speeding up" too much"
-yes, always a wise answer from JT.
This reminds me about my first year of iodine; I was not part of this forum back then and had a more or less constant anxiety of doing something wrong. Anxiety is also a part of the hypo T picture.
I can understand the need for a doctor, but personally I am confused by tests and numbers. I find it so much easier to monitor myself, body temperature, skin, nails, energy, libido etc. I actually prefer to be slightly at the hyper side; this happens at a temperature around 37.4 C (99.2 F)
My energy is at its best at this point.
What can make me go to hyper is actually to much vit B; palpitations, racing thoughts, insomnia etc.
Balancing the companions is the clue IMO; like if insomnia tendencies, taking 5-6 sheets of gelatine at night (calming amino acids like glycine and proline)will give me a better sleep.
