Iodine Madness
http://healthwyze.org/index.php/ingesting-iodine.html
The words "synthetic iodine" are a misnomer. The
Iodine in
Lugol solution is no more "synthetic iodine" than the copper in a penny in your pocket is "synthetic copper". Neither have been synthesized by man, only refined.
One question to ask, is, what is so "dark side" about ingestion of one of the first substances recognized / discovered (in the early 1800's) to have a cause and effect relationship of eradicating / curing a condition (goitre) ?
Is it really "alternative medicine" to ingest an essential mineral ? If so, does that mean that mainstream medicine is against the ingestion of essential minerals ?
Why do people spend time cutting down and demonizing
Iodine supplementation ?
Why do they not focus on, say, selenium, herbs, or some other supplement ?
Answer: Because
Iodine is effective, and costs pharma big $$$ , otherwise they wouldn't burn resources trying to say bad shlt about iodine.
Keep in mind the prescription PIMA syrup, has a typical dose per day of over 1000 milligrams of potassium iodide. Pharma's own stuff that's been around 100 years, is directed to be taken in LARGE quantities , even for little kiddies, which itself proves the safety of what some call large doses.
