sweet spot for dosage
I've been playing around with
Lugol's for a year very sporadically.
First few times i took up to 4 drops or maybe a bit more with no apparent reactions other than a slight feeling of better circulation.
But two things may have happened that i am not sure to attribute to
Iodine yet, more experimentation is needed. I've been having recurrent intestinal attacks that happen after i go vegetarian for a while or perhaps it is triggered by some sort of food i don't eat a lot, or maybe the
Iodine did it. Still not sure.
So my question is, after reading some of Trapper's posts about the correct dosage, has anyone found that too low a dosage causes severe problems? I mean really severe, not just slight worsening of symptoms. Like perhaps you could piss off some pathogen but not eliminate it. I'm wondering if
Iodine can kill pathogens like h. pylori or amoebas.
Another thing is that some black stuff came out of my ears a few times, and i'm pretty sure it was heavy metals but still not sure if iodine was the cause. The last time it happened after i had horseradish and iodine the day previously and i've narrowed it down to one of those two things.
For now i'm not going to be vegetarian while on the iodine to save myself worlds of pain. But i'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences.
Also for now i'll just go slow with 1 drop per day.
Thanks
