Re: 8000 IUs of vitamin D daily necessary to raise blood levels of "miracle" anti-cancer nutrient, declares groundbreaking new research
I happened upon a talk given by Dr. Stasha Gominak, MD, neurologist.
In the talks she mentions that it is not the dosage that is important but rather the level (of D3) in the individual. That level needs to be in the range of 60 - 80. This is where it influences our sleep patterns, as a result we are better able to heal our bodies, during our sleep.
Her point I believe is that our vitamin D3 levels are changing through out the year and that the level of Vitamin D3 needed during the winter will be different than that needed during the warmer months. This creates a need to have our Vitamin D levels regularly tested.
This talk was given at East Texas Medical Center, Tyler, TX on Jan 2011. The following URL’s are to each of the 5 videos. These videos are all from the same presentation. They are about 15 minutes each.
