Re: Gallbladder sludge

Hi Hv, I really need some good advice on how to cleanse my gallbladder and or liver. I am no longer able to digest fats. Fats cause very oily stools, pain in my right shoulder, bile leakage, excess gas and weight loss so I am staying away from them. The only fats I was eating before were olive oil and organic meats and wild caught fish. Seems I am on toxic overload and I am not exactly sure why. It came on while staying at a friend's house that smelled like mold. Last week, I attempted to add a little oil to my meal and I spent 2 days with the oily stools, bile leakage and I lost another 2 lbs. I am already dangerously low in weight and desperately need to gain weight. I am 5'8 weighing 94lbs. I am eating steamed vegetables and fresh fruits with a sweet potato and brown rice here and there. I have been taking Planetary Herbals Grape Bitters for months and months now, 3 times a day. I also pour some rice bran over my foods each day and eat aloe vera. What do you recommend to cleanse and move the bile out of the gallbladder so I can again tolerate the fats? This has been going on for the last month. You are on the right track with the bitters and the fiber.  I suggest though also adding a tablespoon of lecithin granules 3 times daily.  Lecithin is a major component of bile and is what makes bile an emulsifier.

If you are taking any smooth muscle relaxants such as progesterone this can also aggravate the problem by preventing proper gallbladder contraction.
