Well, I just had an episode where I more or less collapsed. I had my blood tested and it came back that my count was 5.8 - apparently, it should be up at least 10ish. I can't really say if that answers your question on what type of anaemia it is, but I'm guessing it's through malabsorbtion in the intestines due to inflammation caused by the crohn's - which, judging by your other posts that seem to correspond to the findings, is triggered by MAP or bacteria.
Anemia in Crohn's can also be caused by loss of blood in the stool.
Think I should try that P'au Darco. As I say, I have read your other post on using this herb with Devil's Claw and something else and Yucca root for inflammation.
I prefer licorice root with the yucca root. But yucca root can cause pain if there is any active bleeding due to hemolysis of red blood cells leading to uric acid formation. So start out slow just in case.
