hi... i don't know how to ease the burning (but there are so many people here in this community who are so knowledgable, i am sure there's someone who will be able to help you!), but i just wanted to say that i experienced the burning too, and what you are experiencing seems normal (though unpleasant, maybe it will pass - and hopefully also someone here will be able to provide a remedy to u for the burning)

i'm not sure u should do this, with the burning you're having, but,
to make sure 'everything' is out,
one thing i used to sometimes do at the end of a flush, was do an additional "salt water flush" -
making sure to use Sea Salt (not the common kind of salt) - you drink a mixture of very salty water (i can't remember exactly how much Sea Salt and how much water, but maybe if you search here you will find the recipe?) and, i felt it got out whatever was left...
