Demodex Mites and Coconut Oil

Does anyone know for sure if Coconut oil KILLS or FEED Demodex mites? I want to start using it to help mosturize my skin but read that it does or doesn't. I think I have some of these little buggards on my skin and would love to KILL them. My skin is red and raw in some spots and I want the Coconut oil to help heal it since I've read great things about it!
