rotten windowsills, off grade building, OSHA, mold

Just some info in case it helps someone. On the outside of the windows, you could see the weather stripping was gone. Under the inside windowsills was a large amount of rotten wood. Water had come in through the cracks and down into the wall.

The worker said the smell (and etc.) in the room might be coming from UNDER the building, because there were so many cracks. I have heard many stories about really nasty mold found under off grade buildings. It's a school, so I know they won't clean it, but I think we've found the source of contamination.

Also, apparently OSHA only polices private buildings. Government buildings are ignored.

The "up to 18 months" air purifiers in my room lasted only 2 months.

I am really hoping to get out of the building soon, but I feel so bad for all the students and teachers that have to be sick from this crud.
