I agree with almost everything you said, except the part about fats being bad for you.
There are 'good' fats that are extremely beneficial for the body, especially for anyone suffering with acne.
The good fats are monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and saturated.
Coconut oil is high in saturated fat as is butter from grass fed cows.
The best source for polyunsaturated fat is wild salmon, and most types of fish. I would bother getting polyunsaturated from any other source except wild salmon and fish oil (fish oil in particular contains omega 3 acids which reduce inflammation in the body - a good thing for anyone with acne).
And lastly, monounsaturated fat can be found in olive oil, peanut oil and avocados. Monounsaturated fat, while good for you, is best in small doses.
