Re: dry fasting? how much weight?

I agree with most of what you have written but still - it is obvious from reading posts here on CZ that most folks are looking for a permanent weight loss from all of these quick schemes.  I was shocked about 15 years ago when after losing 20 pounds on a juice fast that it didn't last long at all.  I see posts on the juicing forum, Master Cleanse and others, of people complaining about not losing weight or not losing enough weight.  It ain't about losing weight!

The other thing is that while you can do every "cleanse" on the board if you don't exercise consistently you're writing your own death certificate.

Our society (USA) is so orally fixated for both food/happiness and medications - medical or alternative, that we don't ever stop to smell the flowers.  Most all dieters and alternative healers are looking for the tit that 99% of us never got as a child.  If they would work on that oral loss and the consequences of it, they'd be much happier and in much better health.
