Re: Vitamin D (secosteroid) and Iodine Myths

Wow, that's pretty cool, I have Hashimoto's. I really didn't have symtoms, but my doctor looks for that 1st thing. I also had a bad Vit. D levels, and gave me injections, then I was on 10,000 IU's for a pretty long time. Levels are now fine, and I maintain on 5000IU's daily.
My symtoms of the thyroid stuff, is just being more sensitive to cold. I really don't like it more and more. I take Nature thyroid, about 95 mgs a day. My doctor wanted me to up the dose, but I resisted. I think I might take her up on it. She said, with my present levels, we had room to up it. Me being conservative said no thanks.
I'm noticing my left eyebrow is really loosing hair!! Not my right, my left! I wonder if that has something to do with the thyroid. How annoying!
