Davy, MH has described to you in simple terms what you have to do. I myself don't sit on the toilet and spray. I take my hot bath and drain the water. Then I take a bucket and fill it with COLD water. Then I take a washcloth and dip it into the bucket and let the water drip from my navel on down as I lean back in the bathtub, careful to keep my legs and feet away from the cold water.
Now there are people who will say that this is ridiculous, and that's fine. But we are all collectively here to learn and support each other in our quest for better health. If you don't like the idea of a sitz bath, don't do it. I personally love it, find it soothing and have been getting awesome results from this, skin brushing, LBB, etc.
