I think that sleeping through it is a brilliant answer as not only does it help avoid temptations, it also gives you maximum benefit from the fast. Fasting is just resting the digestive system which frees up a huge amount of energy for body healing. During the rest, the body can affect repairs to the digestive tract that it cannot if food is continually passing through it.
However, if you use up all that released energy being active and energetic, you use up your reserves and waste the opportunity for maximum benefit. So by all means, pride yourself on being motivated and inspired to sleep as much as you can.
And for those moments when you feel tempted by anything, just put on a big smile and think about what a fantastic reward you will get from being above those temptations.
