Re: Use herbs

I wish the herbs worked for me since they are so much easier than flushes.

I tried dandelion, artichoke, chanca piedra, turmeric, milk thistle.

The milk thistle helped somewhat with making the liver stronger, but never even came close to helping expel stones.

the dandelion and artichoke both felt the same, like they stimulated things a bit, but not enough and then i just felt like i was having a mild gall bladder attack.

the flushes were the only thing that helped move stuff out. i really want to find a way to stop doing flushes but so far nothing else comes close.

also, recently i found that chewing on grape seeds had a similar effect as dandelion but stronger. seemed to trigger a gall bladder attack and some pain. i wish i could just push through this but i'm too wimpy.

i'm trying to learn about ayurvedic medicine and it could be because i'm a vata person and bitters are not recommended for that type. but who knows, i just want that darned thing cleared out.

also, in case anyone has ideas on this, to have a proper flush i need to have a lot of fat prior to the flush, contrary to what most people recommend. i have to eat a lot of fat for at least a few days beforehand or else nothing comes out. seems like my system is just so slowed down that it needs the stimulation. some people talk about taking a tablespoon of olive oil, it's funny because this does nothing for me, i need like half a bottle of olive oil and gobs of butter or animal fat.
