How to Build a PEMF Pulser?

Dear Forum,
I am looking to build a Pulser, but am having trouble finding instructions. I have run across videos using the Vivitar 1500 and 2800 camera flashes, but cannot find schematics or instructions for how to connect the coil, what coil to use, how to trigger it, how to auto trigger so that it pulses repeatedly, and at desired frequencies, what discharge capacitor to use?
I have also seen units with light bulbs in series, but these seem to be non isolated. I would like something with a transformer on the input.
Can anyone help?
