Here is my recipe for "diet soup" It can be eaten as many times a day as you wish, and is low in calories and high in nutrients. Use as a substitute for meals and snacks.
Diet Soup:
1 box of Trader Joe's organic chicken broth
1 large can of diced tomatoes ( or real tomatoes diced)
1/2 of a large cabbage, cut into 3"x1" pieces
2 peppers... green. orange, or red diced
1 large yellow onion
3 stalks of celery
salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
I use this as a base and add meats to each bowl... chicken, turkey, beef... and I spice it accordingly... like if I use chicken I might put in some cumin and chili powder to make a "taco like" soup, or I eat it just as is.
