Am I crazy? pinworms

Before I ask the question, a short explanation of my last 18 months: 11 months of debilitating pain left side of belly button, mind fog, weight loss (15kgs), bloating until I looked pregnant with twins, anaemia, 3 different diets including SCD for crohns ( I am a nutrition scientist, I know of all kinds of diets against all kinds of diseases), breath tests, CT scan, stool samples, ultrasound, blood tests, gastroscopy, TCM, natural medicin, tai chi and screaming in pain. Then I did an overly expensive stool test where they test for present DNA of all things you can imagine: probiotics, bad bacteria, fungi, parasites.
Came back positive with Pinworms. Started with pyrantel pamoat. Then mebendazole. Then more mebendazole. Changed diet, started to get fussy about hygiene. I started to get better, and started to see white cotton like threads and mucus in my stool, but only when I took the meds. My BF dewormed as well, and he told me he sees the same, and that he had some problems, but didnt tell me, since it was nothing compared to my problems.
Now, month 18, we are on a constant roster of garlic milk, ivermectin and albendazole. I gained 7 kg back, but I still cannot eat starches or sugars. But daily, I get better. I havent had any pain for 6 weeks, only nausea, bloating and itches. We also do a garlic enema every two days, and wipe our bottoms with diluted vinegar since it relieves the itching.
Thing is, the specialist does not believe me or the DNA stool test results. He made me do a scotch tape test, and on top if it, I packed him a sample of the dead white strings (short ones maybe 1cm, long ones maybe 3 cm, they look like overcooked, white pasta) I have in my bowl every morning after my BM.
I just got the test results back: Nothing. No eggs, and the doctor said the white stuff was just weird looking mucus. I only have IBS, and its all in my head. The fact that my BF sees the same, and has the same problems, doesn't matter to the specialist.
If it quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck...is it a duck? Or am I going crazy? Should I take the negative scotch tape test as a proof that our regimen is working?
