If I'm suffering from a malady such as a head cold or aches and pains or if I have a fever, I usually have a friend (a registered nurse) come by and check me over. I'm first put into bed, put face down on the bed, and my temperature is taken rectally. After that, I am usually given two or three sometimes four, very slowly administered enemas. The first two are done at or about 18" above my rectum, then the last or other two are given as "High Enemas" in that the pole she uses, gets extended its full height, and assuming a knee-chest position, I receive the last two enemas. The one thing I've noticed, is that after that many enemas, and trips to the bathroom, I'm pretty well worn out, and after her time with me, I get a fairly restful sleep. If I'm running a fever, she'll return and check on me again.
