A quick note on why IMO you should cut STARCH not sugar
(this is copied from elsewhere where I wrote it, but I thought it might start an interesting debate here and maybe help some people too!)
As I understand guys... the best way to approach killing yeast is to cut STARCH, not sugar. My gas and bloating plummeted when I did this. And why? Because starch sits in the gut and slowly digests, feeding all the bugs.
Sugar is into your bloodstream so fast that your body can use it before the bugs have had a chance to really get their teeth stuck into it so to speak!
So cut all the things that really we KNOW aren't very good for us, like bread, oats, all wheat, all grains, starchy legumes... everything with STARCH. On the plus side, you get to eat fruit (apart from unripe or starchy fruit like bananas - eat them in moderation), chocolate (most), dates, things with added sugar, etc etc!
Just my 2 cents, but I think it's working for me!
Of course anti-fungals and stuff like olive leaf and pau d'arco always help too!
