thanks, yes I know it's pretty extreme. I was staying for one week in a hospital ward for Depression and they were telling me to wear sunglasses and that it happens with Depression (they put every single sign of exhaustion down to depression, I didn't agree). If you have to sit in the dark, while you'd prefer to DO something, really something is not right and it's NOT bc of depression.

I don't know about aldosterone and the 'cascade', sounds like I'm on the end of the rope :-s will check it out, in case it's useful.

I'm from Belgium, so don't know the doctors you're talking of. I can only order a saliva test if the results are send up to a doctor who works with them, so I'm stuck there.
