Re: MMS for Primary (Idiopathic) Immune Mediated Membranous Glomerulonephritis?

Hello Iranaude,

Unfortunately no testing has been done to determine what interactions oxidation has with various drugs. People report nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and other issues, but believe that is involved with a healing process and has nothing to do with drug interactions. Without solid data and testing, it is not possible to predict the reaction between an oxidizer and the drugs you are taking.

You may find some information from a pharmacist or your doctor. They won't know anything about Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , but are probably familiar with other oxidizers such as ozone or hydrogen peroxide.

Keeping in mind that the kidneys need to filter everything you drink, sodium chlorite is an inorganic salt and calcium hypochlorite involves chlorine in the form of hypochlorous acid. Kidneys can be damaged by inorganic salts, but I don't know what concentration is needed to do the damage. The same goes for chlorination but there are studies that have looked at what concentrations start to cause renal damage in healthy animals.

People with healthy kidneys and taking small amounts of sodium chlorite have reported no indication of kidney distress on follow up testing. The people taking calcium hypochlorite have not reported or not done follow up testing to determine if there is any damage occurring or not.

There is a paper or two looking at dialysis contamination with water that had been purified with chlorine dioxide. I don't believe there were any adverse effects noted from the small amounts of chlorite left in the water after purification, but the chlorite levels were higher than what was allowed for dialysis. You may want to put this into a search to review that information for yourself.

To summarize, no one knows if there is a drug interaction and no one knows if these chemicals will cause further damage to your kidneys that are already damaged...

I would suggest you having a discussion with a medical professional to see if these chemicals have any possibility to help. If you want to try them be sure to have follow up testing to make sure you aren't doing additional damage. You may also want to review the various treatments being offered and see if you can determine if they involve oxidation. If they do, then chlorite may help if you can figure out an amount to use that doesn't further aggravate things.

Tom
