EDIT - I wrote the previous in a hurry this morning so I edited and reworded it for the sake of clarity.

I don't know that I would come out and say it was outright written with evil intent but it's results have been evil from the perspective of it's abuse. As most isms the original intent sounds noble and but in reality of actual practice they don't take into account human diversity, human greed and the potential to abuse it for personal and selfish gains as illustrated by the current state of our economy which was largely affected by adherent and proponents of Rands brand of "Social Darwinism"

While for purposes of discussion the propensity is to refer to things as attached to one of the known ideologies or isms more often than not this is abused by the weak minded ignoramuses full of hate that don't have the capacity for independent thought thus blindly adhere to ideologies such as Rands and use these isms such as Socialism etc to dismiss any ideas that don't adhere to their agendas instead of discussing things from any kind of logical "humanitarian" perspective.
