All we take with us is our joy
My daytime job is mostly to help those who are new to blindness grow their lives after they lose their sight. For many it is very challenging... It is much like learning to crawl before we can walk or going to school for the first time... Learning to be blind is a challenge. To see the world through sound, taste, smell, touch but also intuition is difficult in a sighted world but those who have the audacity to live a full and complete life of work, school, family and friends, most every day, show me new ways to appreciate the world around me. Perhaps we are just a dream of a dream
and create our own reality?
Some of us dream large lives, while others play the part of having small lives, for the lessons we can learn from living them. We are all artists. Our mind is our brush and this earth may be our medium but our soul is what adds color to our life. Be colorful... or not... Art does not have to
be large and colorful to be beautiful but I am greedy that way.
Small or large, blend the colors of your life
with joy and tears as there are no tears in the next world... When I died and went to the other side, there were no tears there. We come here to taste tears but our love and joy is all we take with us, so I try to bring joy to those who have cried too many tears... It makes me smile and our smiles will make it too...
