An interesting side note on this article is that the tonsil tissue they used for the study was "obtained from children undergoing routine tonsillectomy at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus".

I wonder, if once they discovered that tonsil tissue WAS part of the immune system in these kids, did they think, Ooops!
