You asked a reasonable question, and I’ll give a reasonable answer: It’s not about having sex or not having sex. It’s about women’s health. Men don’t have to worry about getting pregnant, so they can have sex as they wish with little in the way of consequences. No so for women. For those who want to suggest that sex resulting in pregnancy is a choice a woman makes and therefore she must bear the sole responsibility and consequences of an unwanted pregnancy is incredibly unreasonable. If I apply that same logic, a male who contracts a sexually transmitted disease in that same sexua| encounter should not be insured for the Antibiotics required to treat the infection. A smoker who contracts lung cancer should not be covered because they chose to smoke. An obese person who develops diabetes should not be treated because their obesity and diabetes is their own fault. Yes, of course, none of that makes sense! The point of health coverage is to ensure health and cover disease without trying to lay blame. Birth control is a women’s health issue. It should be covered as such. Period. One final point on the grand hypocrisy of Limbaugh: have we all forgotten his run in over prescription drug abuse and fraud? He made it go away with a $30,000 payment, but innocent people don’t do that sort of thing. What do you want to bet that the prescription drugs he was abusing – and doctor shopping for – were partly or largely covered by this health insurance. What do you want to bet? The guy is a bag of hot air.



this is only a C.Y.A. move by him. Face it, he's a vulgar grotesque person. Anyone that picks on a no-named regular person like that, when he sits upon a half-billion dollar fortune and comfy in his soft leather chair smoking fancy cigars, and taking "trips" to the Dominican Republic (whose v!agra were those in the bags???), really has no right picking on a "regular Jane".The sooner he's told by stations that they don't want him, the better! Enough with these mean spirited people. They have nothing but hate and malice in their hearts - Stop defending, and listening to them.
