I've been eating raw meat and eggs for years. I went through a phase where I really craved raw liver and chopped into little pieces and put in freezer to make liver "pills." As soon as my craving is gone I stop.
It's called sushimi or tar-tar. Nothing new or gross about it. I've eaten raw chicken before too.
I only eat 100% organic meat raised on pasture that is local. That grocery store stuff is full of chemicals and is weeks (or months) old.
A raw egg (grass fed, organic - I have my own backyard chickens) in a glass of raw milk is delicious. Egg nog. :-)
