Taurine and ammonia

What is the relationship between taurine and ammonia? Does one lead to an elevated level of the other?

Or do the 2 need to balance, i.e. does to much ammonia lead to to much taurine, or does to much taurine lead to low ammonia?

Or are they typically both elevated together, and lower together?
