What are the common causes of low chromium/vandium deficiency, I dont suspect its stomach acid in my case as other minerals are in normal reference ranges, but these and manganese are all low (and sulfur)
Chromium absorption is impeded by high phosphorus foods such as dairy and beef leading to the formation of insoluble chromium phosphates, by low stomach acid, by high fat and by high vanadium or iron. Chromium is lost by elevated blood sugar, and heavy exercising that increases urinary loss of chromium.
Vanadium deficiencies have never been reported in humans.
I would be really surprised if your tests showing sulfur was low was accurate as well. Sulfur is so abundant in our foods that deficiencies are virtually unheard of.
