Re: raw food diet and AB blood type

I've been 90%-100% (depending on the month) for 1.6 years now. I have really weak stomach acid and I've just given up on nuts entirely.

Unfortunately I don't even like radishes, so that isn't an issue for me in any event. I always feel bloated after avocados and smell bad the next day after eating them, and they make me terrifically gassy. This is really saddening for me as I love avocados.

I've given up all oil.

I'm quite certain I simply don't digest fat. I can handle lettuce, zucchini, tomatoes, pomegranates and other veggies and fruits with some small fat content... And chia seeds don't seem to bother me.

I wish I had an answer to this.

I do know that eating lots of kale and with avocados makes the symptoms far less.

Much of the information I collect is on my site, as well as nutritionally complete raw vegan meal plans -- including nut-free and low-nuts plans. http://www.raederle.com

Hope my input helps -- if in no other way but to let you know that you're not alone.

Oh, and for the immune system -- I did a "fast from sweet fruits" for 40 days where I didn't eat dried fruits, bananas, kiwis, etc... I just ate tons of vegetables and the occasional small bowl of cooked quinoa or amaranth. And I took tons and tons of probiotics during that time. It helped me in a lot of different ways.

However, beware of strong herbs or detox blends -- for people with stomach problems (weak stomach acid, ulcers, etc), they can further complicate things by further damaging the stomach. I made that mistake by using powerful herbs to help "clean out" my system. It was working, and all well and good, but after a while I started getting acid reflux for the first time since I had gone raw vegan.
