Well, the situation just got much worse. Banks that fraudulent forged documents in order to repossess homes (some of which were not even arrears) were just awarded amnesty by the Obama administration and all state attorney's general. They get to keep the money from all the homes they fraudulently foreclosed and have to pay the former homeowner the paltry sum of only $2,000 MAXIMUM. Heck, that's not even enough to pay the homeowner's moving expenses. This is nationwide and involves all of the nation's largest banks in the home-loan industry.
