Re: Accutane hair loss sufferers should take biotin ...
I did notice in the chemist they mentioned biotin for maintaining finger nails, bones, and hair.
I will be taking this, after i finish with my herbal medicine from my chinese herbalist. He said its best to treat the liver first. Once the liver is recovered, wait for the result, and if still experiencing same problem, I probably will try biotin for a 3 months see how it goes.
For people with accutane/roaccutane if you don't have hair loss consider yourself lucky, being an ignorant teenager back then, wasn't aware of the consequencse of taking a lethal drug that had mentioned side effects. I thought i was invincible at that time. This drug was 10x times strong, very simple it damages the production of oil in the sebaceous glands of which the hair and bones becomes dry and frail, I've been getting dry hair, hair loss and joint pain.
for those dermatologist, specialist, doctors who recommend roaccutane/accutane they became qualified to make money not to help treat people. never trust anyone, trust your own instinct, if you have any eerie feeling, something is wrong.
Don't mess with artifical pills, be natural, its amazing what herbs can do to repair the body.
RESULT: I'm in process to recovery, crossing my fingers and hoping my hair loss, joint pain, damaged liver, tiredness will all go away. being 23, young has given me chances to recover, and I hope for those in the same situation will have this chance too to recover.
