Yes, you need to stop dairy, sugar, and avoid gluten. Now, it may not be an absorption issue exactly. You may need to supplement l-glutamine powder in upper doses. There was this one woman who was relieved of her symptoms after 6 months (l-glutamine, digestive enzymes, and probiotics). Sometimes it takes a while.

Also, you need to stop alcohol. Completely.

I think magnesium relaxes muscles and calcium contracts them. The deficiency of these minerals might be causing GI motility problems, too. It could get complicated because have a low motility or bacterial overgrowth can make deficiencies worse and harder to solve. It becomes a loop. You have to keep going, and don't just take too much of something or the other.

You are almost there, man!

Do you have a white coating on tongue?
