Re: The Cancer in Occupy

These "adolescents" sound like exactly what the Occupy Movement does not need.
My first thought was it may be a ruse by the PTB to split and destroy the movement from the more peaceful-loving folks that are working hard for change, especially with their tactics of wearing black, masking their faces and calling themselves the black block... anything to spread fear. The US is so conditioned to equate anything black with BAD: so this ruse seems to be working. However, just went thru the brilliant post before this that got a BSA and would like folks to remember most especially these points:

2. No despair. Despair is a waste of time and energy. and
4. Trust the vision.
5. Focus on goals, not on our enemies. There will always be some ones around keeping a movement from growing.
Better put.... "6. Expect resistance.
It’s the political corollary to Newton’s Third Law of Motion: Every action creates an equal and opposite reaction. Whatever you do, you are going to piss somebody off. (In fact, I’ve always thought that this is an important life metric: if you’re not pissing somebody off, you’re not doing enough to change the world.

"Sorry" about repeating... but it just seemed to fit into this context perfectly! Chins up!
