Medication and alcohol don't mix

If you're taking medication, don't drink alcohol. Alcohol puts extra strain on the liver which is often under strain to filter out the medication already. In some cases, it can cause serious problems.

The studies that the do on medication typically avoid patients who drink becuase that causes so many unpredictable outcomes and the drug companies will have more trouble getting the drugs approved.

Stress management is best approached through bio-feedback, so you learn how to consciously control the physical manifestations of stress -- and as a consequence, you relax. For example, learn to consciously warm your hands to lower blood pressure. Sounds weird, but it is possible and it works.
