My Mom had surgery yesterday....

They removed the right middle lobe of her lungs. Biopsied it and it is positive for cancer. they also removed lymph nodes that looked bad, no results on the testing of those yet but the surgeon said they don't look good.

They of course will be recommending Chemo

I am numb mostly at the moment and I have gone into fix it mode.

I think she will be more open to taking Iodine now but I am not sure if it will be enough......
