I've had really bad candida for probably 3-4 years now and no matter what I did have not gotten any better so I decided to start chelating last year at this time. I chelated for about 11 months and felt a substantial decrease in my candida symptoms. I then stopped and went on a full blown candida killing protocol with the diet and antifungals and detox regimen. I feel like I am getting better every day and feel like I haven't in a while. However, I am afraid that I am going to hit a point where I can no longer get any better. I am afraid this will be due to me not finishing the chelation. I don't have a lot of money to spend right now and the candida regimen is costing me a fortune. During those 11 months I chelated thoroughly and aggressively. I did a mixture of cutler's protocol and IV DMPS. And I didn't have any fillings, only as a child which were taken out 10 years ago. I feel like the metal burden that I probably had chronically for over 10 years have decreased my immune system enough where it was unable to control the candida anymore. Do you think this thorough chelation protocol that I have been on could've possibly reduced the metals enough to benefit my immune system enough that the candida can be fully cured. I don't want to be 70 percent of 80 percent cured, I want to be 100 percent cured where I can do and eat anything I want. I know there are people out there with metal burdens in their body but no candida symptoms whatsoever. So will it be possible to get rid of candida if my metal burden has been reduced substantially? Or will it not go away until the metals are totally gone? I see enough progress right now to feel confidence that I will be cured, but I do not want to hit a dead end wall. Should I continue chelation, is it necessary? Any suggestions would be appreciated...
