Question about diet and feeling bad on it.....
My husband is doing the candida diet with me. We are not taking any antifungals right now. We've been on it a little over a week now. I think we are eating plenty of food, and according to my husband's blood tests, he doesn't have blood
Sugar issues or diabetes. Today he said he's felt really bad. He said he feels like he's going to throw up, is seeing "stars" at times and feels lightheaded, headaches and very jittery. He has never been officially diagnosed with candida, but I suspect he has it. He has eczema on his upper lip, lots of digestive issues, bloating, gas, hard to lose weight, etc. He is also craving soda really badly.
My feeling is that he is experiencing detox/die-off symptoms, as I know many times when I've done it I feel like death warmed over. And while I'm used to it, he just freaks out though and doesn't know how to handle it. He has to stay on a strict diet like this, because he has to lose a lot of weight and he loses the most when he does a low/carb, high protein diet, like the candida diet. I keep trying to reassure him that it's probably die-off, detox from the sugar, carbs, etc. He is very stubborn too and doesn't want to take an
Epsom Salt bath, which I think would help him. Does this like die-off to you all? Thanks.
