Re: Slow-release ALA

How much biotin is in it? I take a lot of biotin myself every day, and I definitely noticed a positive difference in my general wellbeing when I started taking it.

Supposedly, biotin and ALA are used by the same 'receptors' in the body. That's why people who take lots of ALA report hair loss; because taking too much ALA results in biotin being unable to get to those receptors since they are being hogged by ALA, and biotin is needed for hair growth. Maybe you should avoid taking ALA and biotin together at the same time?
