I see the success of Ho'oponopono as simply that the universe needs the apology to to be said, and accepted, and that it doesn't matter who says it.
"I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you."
To me, that's delightful. And I use it often.
Another I like is...
"There, there, little one. You'll be okay. I'll take care of you."
Support is a great thing, too. I've helped some situations by keeping my mouth shut, and simply projecting the idea of success. I have to remind myself to do this sometimes...my mouth falls open, ready to speak, a little too often.
