Re: How to deal with family when they don't always "get" it?

I totally feel you. This illness is one of the hardest things to communicate to anyone. And in addition no one can really know what you feel, the extremity of it. My parents thought it was all psychological when I first tried to explain it to them. And when I presented them with information about bad root canals they looked at me as if I was crazy. I don't have any advice for you, but be thankful to have the companionship of your husband and that extra bit of support. Being a single guy one of the toughest hurdles I'm facing is dating and relationships. It's hard to even want to be a part of them when you feel this way.
