Re: Effective bicarbonate-free ways of alkalinizing water?

>>"I just read on Wikipedia that hydroxides in solution (in water?) - when exposed to air - react with carbon dioxide to form bicarbonate ions - so using hydroxides may lead me back to the situation I'm trying to escape"<<

yep... hydroxides are highly active compounds and short lived in solutions of air/liquids.

use your own god given common sense.

ML's *mix*

Kelp
BSM
pinch of Epsom Salt (optional dependent upon how you choose to use ES or how much you wish to take)
AC vinegar or fresh squeezed lemon
and limewater

mixed together will expand and fizz to a lesser extent and slower, however, just like lemon juice/ACV and baking soda... so do not fill the container full, or put a lid on it or it will overflow and/or break the container.

You figure it out.

ML is now at http://www.sicknesshope.com

You are also right to understand that you need what you need more or less... too much being as bad as not enough.
