Re: Which Hanna PWT model # for testing my CS?

Hello Dax702,

It is normal calibration fluid that gives you the conductivity at various temperatures. For example it is rated at 84 uS/cm at 25 C / 77 F.

When the temperature drops to 10 C / 67 F the conductivity drops to 50 uS/cm.

Knowing the temperature of the fluid and using the calibration solution allows for accurate measurements.

I believe, but do not know for sure, that it is a simple salt solution that is checked against a standard.
